We visited Trattoria Mösslhof after enjoying the beautiful lake view and it turned out to be a lovely stop. I had the pasta with bacon and cream sauce which was absolutely delicious, creamy and full of flavor. The spinach dumplings with cream cheese sauce were okay but not as great as the pasta. Our kid had a hot dog with French fries and the apple juice was surprisingly yummy. We also had cappuccino and it was great. The seating was comfortable and while they do have outdoor seating, we chose to sit inside. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, which is always a plus. The host spoke English which made things easier for us and the interiors were cute, quaint and spacious, giving the whole place a warm Alpine charm. Overall, a pleasant experience and a nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal after visiting the lake.

The feeling of homemade Nonna (grandma) food. The pasta with bacon and cheese-sauce was just PERFECT. Fried eggs with bacon and potatoes were excellent and the apple cake was out of this world.

Excellent place for a pitstop after a visit to the lake. Don’t be afraid of the narrow road leading up to it. It’s there where google says it is! Nice terrace and also a nice indoor seating area. Basic selection of food but the two dishes we had were very tasty. Super fast service even though the place was busy.

Dropped by after visiting Braies! Pasta was very fresh and service was really warm. Lunch starts from 12 noon to 3.30pm & they don't serve dinners. The only downside about outside seats were the smell from cattles' wastes

Rustic and beautiful restaurant with a fantastic countryside view and delicious food. The owner is super friendly especially to the kids, they were given toys to play while waiting for the food and were allowed to play water games in the garden

A lovely Tratoria near Lago di Braies. 4 minutes drive. Picturisque view and lovely Austrian/German food. Affordable and accessible

If you want to eat local this is the place to try! The food is amazing, we tried the polenta with cervo, mushrooms were so fresh and tasty and also the schnitzel was very good. The woman working there is so kind, always smiling. Definitely a place to go.
